WWF’s Giant paper boat and plane project

Oct 16th 2007

WWF

The WWF (not the Wrestlers!) are aiming to create a giant paper boat and plane and send them down the Thames over to the Houses of Parliament to pressure the government into strengthening the climate change bill. If you sign up to the online petition your name will appear somewhere on the boat and plane. Sounds like a cool idea and one which should get noticed provided they get enough people to sign up! So get on board and help them make their point (its for a good cause)…

Get on board!

Thanks to Iain for the link…

  2. that’s an action, what is good. But we need more useful actions. We can create an movement for every one put a mirror out of their windows. I will write this in my blog. Are you with me?

  3. Nice one - thanks for the linkage! One thing though, the “Get on board” link is broken. Could you replace it with this one: http://campaigns.wwf.org.uk/eactivist/srv/render?rRiRuv&view=GB,en,5,14325,-1,n,n,n

Keep an eye on the site’s blog - we’ve got a video coming up in the next couple of days with some great behind the scenes footage of the boat and plane in construction…

  4. Ade, fixed the link - thanks for letting me know. Had a look at the site’s blog - seems to all be shaping up! Look forward to seeing it!
