Last night I went to the last ever Pecha Kucha at the Institute of Contemporary Arts. One of my friends Paul was giving a 7 minute presentation on his new interesting venture called Our House; a portable, flexible and communal ‘working holiday retreat’ aiming to revamp UK tourism and regenerate some of our most infamous coastal towns. I feel like I’ve missed out a bit, as Pecha Kucha had been going for 2 years and had showed a wide range of interesting speakers and I’ve only just heard of it! Oh well, at least I got to go to one I guess. Apparently, Pecha Kucha will live on but in a different format and venue (I over heard that Saddlers Wells could be the one).
