Joost beta testing…

Mar 4th 2007

Joost

Well after 6 weeks of waiting…I finally got my BETA tester details today for the new streaming P2P TV platform, Joost.

After trying it out I’ve got to say I’m very impressed! It has a great user interface and the picture quality seems to be pretty good considering it’s full screen. There’s not much buffering, so programs load up pretty quick. I also like the fact that you can add widgets to your screen such as a clock, RSS feeds, instant messenger for Jabba and Gmail accounts. I like the idea of watching tv and chatting on IM and I’m sure the youth of today will love that too seeing as they spend so much time on IM. I guess the only thing missing is some more content, but that will come with time.

I have been reading alot about Joost and i have to say it sounds incredible. Joost is the future. I also signed up for beta testing but as of yet i haven’t been choosen, so i think it would be awesome if you could give me an invite. I can understand you might be reluctant to give an invite to a stranger but please at least consider it. Think of it as spreading the love to a fellow tv-internet enthusiast.

  2. Hi there,

Unfortunately I haven’t got any invites to give away yet, I’ve promised a couple of friends that I’d give them invites if I received some, but if I get any after that I’ll definitely pass one on…

Hi, I was wondering if you have extra joost invites for the new round of invites that were sent out, and if possible could you send me one? Thanks

  5. If anyone has a spare invite, I would love to get one.
